There’s a sense of security and relief — even beauty — in knowing that when life keeps handing you lemons and you’re tired of going it alone, you have a support system to lean on. It may be one person, or it may be something or some place. Whatever it is, it carries you when you can’t find the strength to stand on your own. It helps you find your way — not always back to what was, but the way to what is.

Afloat is an ode to that support system. In shape and form inspired by marine equipment that keeps us above sea level, this collection embodies the idea that oftentimes, what keeps us going and helps us carry the load is the people around us.
